Hello,

I've installed the app companion extension on Microsoft Edge browser on my Mac with the operating system macOS Big Sur, but I can't use it since it says that can't verify the identity of my web browser which doesn't happen at all with chrome.

1Password Version: 1Password 7 Version 7.7 (70700016) Mac App Store
Extension Version: 4.7.5.90
OS Version: OS Big Sur 11.1

    Hi @andrp92! Welcome to the forum!

    Do you perhaps have a pending update of Edge? This often happens when the browser is in the middle of an update, and making sure there are no updates left to apply is enough to make the message go away.

    Note that you might have to quit 1Password completely (right-click on 1Password mini in the menu bar at the top right of your screen > Quit 1Password Completely), and then relaunch it after the browser update.

    Hello ag_ana, thanks for your quick response! I wen't ahead and verify both, any pending updates and restarted the 1Password app completely, and none of them worked. Is there anyways I can send you logs or anything that might help you check further into that? The thing is that I don't like safari but I love the integration is has where I don't have to enter the password but use my fingerprint.

    Thanks before hands.!

    @andrp92:

    Certainly, you could generate a diagnostics report from your Mac and email it to us to support+forum@agilebits.com, so we can take a closer look at why this is happening to you.

    After you have sent the email, please feel free to post the ticket number you received so we can locate your message and connect it with this forum discussion.

    Looking forward to your message!

    Hi, did that bring any solution? I have the exact same issue... :(

    I found the solution in another thread. Running mkdir -p ~/Library/Application\ Support/Google/Chrome in the terminal does the trick.

    Have you given this set of instructions a go? https://support.1password.com/could-not-connect/#for-all-browsers

    Oops I'm a bit too slow. Thanks for updating the topic. :)
