What happened to the desktop extension?

Today I signed into Brave and the 1Password Desktop extension stopped working. I could only get it to work by installing the other 1Password extension that requires you to type your password into the browser. Now, when I quit my browser, I have to re-enter my master password.

What happened to the browser extension that works with your dekstop installation of 1Password?

    Thanks for the link, that worked! I wonder why my previous classic install stopped working...

    Hey @wesselt ,

    1Password Classic may stop working if the browser has a pending update or if it lost connection to the desktop app, so a simple restart to both 1Password and the browser often do the trick (or a restart to the computer if you find it easier). :+1:
