1P 7.8 not suggests and not fills data anymore

Hi,
1P 7.8 (App Store version) not shows me anymore the suggestions and not fills anymore data in my Chrome browser.
I've closed 1P in the menu, restart. Restarted my Macs (Catalina and BigSur) as suggested in the FAQ but the issue is still there.
Any hints ?

    Can you confirm what version of the 1Password browser extension you have currently installed in Chrome?

    4.7.5.90 ... ehm ... the extension was automagically disabled ... now enabled again and it works like a charm ...
