A short sentence as my master password?
Hi All
I am considering using a short sentence as the master password for 1Password. I read somewhere that a short sentence is just as secure as a shorter password with more random characters. I'm not sure of this though and I think that the one place I could find out for certain about the security of a password is here.
The sentence I'm thinking of using is 42 characters. It is as you'd expect words with spaces and at the end is a full stop ("period" in US English).
Do you think that would be secure or should I use a longer sentence?

@thought_police A guideline for master passwords is 16-20 characters if based on random letters, numbers, symbols, etc or >32 characters if based on a collection of dictionary words. I put some 42 character sentences into the following websites and they seemed to think they were more than good enough.

Make sure that sentence is not from a book/lyric/etc.
Preferably the sentence doesn't even make sense.
