Using 1P with Global Protect VPN login

I'm trying to use 1Password to fill in the credentials for my Global Protect VPN login.

I'm able to add app://com.paloaltonetworks.GlobalProtect and app://com.paloaltonetworks.GlobalProtect.client to the websites in 1P so when I hit "CMD + \" it knows which credentials it should fill in, but if I hit enter nothing happens.

The GP VPN login is leveraging a web view to our OKTA SSO, so it seems to me like this would be something that would be reasonable.

1Password Version: Version 7.8 (70800001) Mac App Store
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: OS X 10.15.7
Sync Type: 1Password account

    Hi @mlodgepaolini!

I don't believe 1Password can do this outside of the browser: in a browser, we can fill thanks to the browser extension, but we cannot fill outside of there, even if the app is using a web view. 1Password mini can show you the correct login, as you found out, but you will have to drag and drop username and password from there.
