Can the number of characters for a password be changed?

Hello
I am trying to assign a password to a login but the login only accepts 8 to 16 characters.
Is there any way to adjust how many characters can be generated to create a password?

    @tonymelch If you are using 1Password in the browser then click on the 1Password icon -> Large '+' in circle -> Password Generator. Here you can choose a password type, adjust the recipe for that password type, manually edit the generated password and choose which type is used by the Suggested Password function.
