Fill single letters from password

Options

Hi, 1Password on iOS will happily fill individual characters from a password, like when my bank says "Enter the following characters from your password: 3, 17, 19". On Windows this never works - it always tries to fill the whole password in each box (same sites).

Tried in Chrome and Brave, old 1Password extension and 1PasswordX

  1. Is there any way to fill the correct letters like on iOS?
  2. If not, is there any way to stop it auto-filling the password incorrectly?

Thanks

Hi @willypimpernel, thanks so much for writing in!

I apologize, but this functionality is not currently available on Windows.

We suggest using "Reveal in Large Type" to show your password in large type with separated characters to quickly identify the needed characters. This is currently the only work-around solution available - let me know if I can help out with anything else!

Ok thanks for the reply. It would be great to introduce this because 1passwordX disappears when you type, so the large version of passwords is pretty cumbersome.

@willypimpernel If you click on the "open in new window" button it will not disappear and you can move it to somewhere convenient.
