Won't Update

I'm having the same issue as many people. My 1Password won't update on my iMac or Macbook Pro. Keeps saying can't update at this time, try again later. This has been going on for months (I'm getting tired of the little red notification flag). I've rebooted, I've tried to quit, force quit, etc; both Safari, App Store and 1Password. I've run out of options. Any suggestions?

    I have the same issue:

    • macOS 11.2.3 (20D91)
    • iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019)
    • 3 GHz 6-CORE Intel i5

    Tried up through step 2. It didn't work. Will attempt the next solution offered.

    I tried again using the "drag to trash" method. I downloaded from the app store rather than your website.

    Seems to be working fine now. About shows:

    1Password 7
    Version 7.8.1 (70801004)
    Mac App Store

    I don't see anyway to "upvote" @ag_ana or @ag_tommy.

    Having the same issue, won't update 7.8.1 and I'm on 11.3 (20E232).

    Is the only way to uninstall and reinstall?

    FYI: I have same problem with latest update, i.e. won't update Had re-install to do update in the past as well, say maybe 6-9 months ago. No problems with updating any other apps.

    But your suggestion of turning off 1Password on the small icon near the Wifi icon worked smoothly. Thanks!
