1Gb for whole of family?

So I see that you offer 1Gb of storage for the family plan and 1GB for the personal plan. My question is , is that 1Gb for each user in the family plan or the family plan as a whole? If that is true, how does this make sense considering the fact that you have 5 more people storing items? Why not give at least 3gb to 5gb of shared storage? I saw a previous post stating that we are unable to purchase additional space so do you have plans to potentially reevaluate this?

    I saw that it is indeed 1 gb per person on the family plan. No need to let me know. Thanks anyway!!!
