Purchase from MAS

Hi
I have had 1password since 2009 and was wondering if it will be easy for me to keep all my existing passwords ect if I purchase from the MAS rather than updating via your web.I do have everything linked to my dropbox and if I delete version before installing the MAS version what happens.I normally keep a zipped back up on a usb for belt and braces.
Where dose it say that if I purchse now It will automatically update to V4 when available..I am in the UK

Both 1Password 3.8 (from the AgileBits store) and 1Password 3.9 (from the Mac App Store) use the same data format. Your data is stored separately from the application so following the steps to remove 3.8 before installing 3.9 will not affect anything. Please see our guide:
