1password browser extension doesn't recognize 1password windows desktop app is installed

I'm having an issue where the 1password browser extension doesn't recognize that the 1password desktop app is installed and integrate with it. I always have to toggle the "Integrate with 1password app" switch off and on in the browser extension's settings for it to properly work

OS Version: Windows 10
