1 Password often stops working in Safari after Mac OS updates (requires reboot to fix)

As someone who rarely reboots their Mac due to the amount of open windows and programs rebooting all the time is extremely irritating so I usually just go a long time between being able to use 1Password.

I have seen a few posts on this any ideas what the cause is or another way to fix it rather than a reboot?

1Password Version: 7.8.6
Extension Version: 7.8.6
OS Version: 10.15.7
Sync Type: unsure paid version

    Please try the following.

    1. Look for our helper in the menu bar near the WiFi indicator and the clock. Right-click (Option-click) on the helper and select quit 1Password completely.
    2. Quit your browser.
    3. Wait a few seconds and then open 1Password from the Dock or the Applications folder and unlock
    4. Open your browser.

    Thanks for the instructions, that is far more preferable for me than rebooting.

    Next time it happens I will try this and report back.
