Unable to reset password in Discord app/website

Whenever I try to use 1Password to change my password on Discord I get stuck:

  • If I try to set a new Discord password using the Edge browser then when I click on 1Password's "Use Suggested Password" nothing happens: the "New Password" field remains blank.
  • If I try to set a new Discord password using the iOS Discord App then 1Password's suggested password gets auto-filled into the "current password" (the one I want to change) and I'm unable to move it to the "new password" field.

    I've done some testing and, you're right, 1Password is having trouble injecting the Suggested Password into the "New Password" field. I've shared this with our development team to see if we can improve the filling experience here. In the meantime, we suggest using the Password Generator instead:

    1. Click the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar.
    2. Click "+" and choose Password Generator.
    3. Generate a password and choose Autofill.
    4. 1Password should prompt you to update your existing Login.
