1Password 8 for Mac early access -- Safari Extension

I have successfully installed the 1Password 8 for Mac early access.
I have successfully installed the beta release of 1Password browser extension for Edge, Brave, and Firefox. (I am not using Chrome).

When I select the link for the 1Password for Safari (https://1password.community/home/leaving?allowTrusted=1&target=https://apps.apple.com/app/1password-for-safari/id1569813296) beta browser extension I am redirected to the Mac App Store. It appears to be the full 1Password application download for the v7 release and not just an extension for the v8 early access product.

HELP!

What am I doing wrong with my approach to get 1Password 8 to work in Safari?

Thanks!

If you go to the Safari menu and then Safari Extensions and search for 1Password, you'll be able to find 1Password for Safari from there. It will look something like this:

Can you give that a try and let me know if you're able to install it from there?

Thanks -- this solved my concern.

I didn't see the "Safari Extension" comment as it is quite subtle.
