Problem with “Add New Item” in ios and linux

Hello,
The new item function is almost useless as it stands. In prior versions, add new would pick up the url and title of the page.
Now it just opens a new tab with a completely blank form.

You could just as easily (maybe easier) use the desktop app to create the item.

Perhaps this function is still under development, but you could just as well disable it until it’s finished.

Otherwise the new add on is very nice.

Thank you

    Hey @Doctor__Dan ,

The extension will only create a new item with the information of the website you're visiting if you save it directly from the page (e.g. you're in the username/password field and you click the "Save in 1Password" button). That is how it always worked :)

The "+New Item" button allows you to manually create any kind of item you want at any given moment, regardless of the website you're visiting. It will create a blank new item for you to manually fill out.
We do recommend saving new logins directly from the websites you visit and not creating new items manually as 1Password will record the necessary metadata from the page, ensuring higher chances of autofill success.

I hope that clarifies the different functions and usages of the extension and its creating/saving process.
