Hotkey for search bar on desktop

I'm very keyboard driven, and kinda don't use my mouse much at work.

While using the desktop client, whenever I open it, I instinctively press / to search, but nothing happens.
It seems like actually point-and-clicking on the search bar is the only thing that works.

Do you think it would be viable to focus the search bar when pressing /? Or maybe even actually focus it by default when opening the app.

Looks like this has been implemented, thanks! (not sure how to close the thread).

  • I'm assuming that you're referring to us focusing on the search bar when you open 1Password... but also, Ctrl-F will focus on the search bar, with searches restricted to whatever vault, or tag you currently have selected.

Oh, it never occurred to me to try Ctrl+F, but just using / works fine too now (looks like it's been implemented since the original request).
Feel free to close the thread :)
