Main forum search needs some filter options

I've just been searching for a topic before deciding whether or not to raise a new post. The main search brings back thousands of results with no option to filter. Typically with the rate of change, results over a few months old are less and less useful.

Once the results are back it would be great to be able to filter them by age, product or version.

Just a thought

    The age filter is already there:

    And when it comes to version number, you could add it to the search field directly. Although this might not be very useful since this information is often not there in the discussions, so you would miss out on a lot of useful posts I think.

    Ah, yes, I did not notice the twisty arrow, thank you putting me straight. I wonder if more ought to be done to make it more obvious and accessible?
