looking back on some older issues namely:

  1. is uninstalling the app still the recommended guidance?
  2. do I need to uninstall both the 1passX (browser ext) and 1pass mac app ?

    I would personally start from a clean setup, yes.

    it seems odd that there's no remove account though from the prefs>accounts screen! is it just me or does that sound crazy

    You can definitely do that. Please see this post for the instructions for the Mac, for example :+1:

    I thought you were trying to start from a clean slate, but reading the old discussion, if you only need to remove one account, it's easier if you just remove that one account :)
