Do I keep both icons??

If not how to safely delete

    Hi @redtara!

    If you are using 1Password 8, the browser extension for Safari is a separate download, so you need to keep both icons :+1:

    Why is this as its not only confusing but I like to keep my applications menu carefully curated. I don't have an icon "1Password for Firefox" for example.

    1Password for Safari is a Safari Web Extension, which currently must be distributed through the App Store, resulting in a separate icon.

    Jack,

    Is this a new packaging change that Apple is enforcing? As of course the previous extension running with 1Password 7 certainly worked in same version of Safari without an icon. I did download another extension and it also placed an icon there just to confirm what you are saying - so still totally not to my liking but I can shift focus to Apple versus 1Password.
