    Hi @keitht1958:

    1Password 7 and 1Password 8 store their data in different locations, so you will not lose any data, however you will need to manually uninstall 1Password 8 prior to attempting to install 1Password 7. Let me know how you get on with that!

    i tried v7 on a seperate laptop but still could not remove or rename personal vault so i uninstalled it.
    no back on main desktop with v8

    The Personal vault cannot be renamed or deleted. Sorry for any inconvenience.
