I have a family membership, can I update to 1PW8 and leave the other family member on 1PW7

New to Family Membership: Can I update to 1PW8 while the other Family member remains on 1PW7 for families?

Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: Mac OS 11.6.2

    Switched from Individual to Family membership. Can I update to 1PW8 and still leave the other family member on 1PW7?

    I use 7 on my macs and 8 on my Windows PC. I assume each family member can use either client.
