Hi, I have some feedback about the v8 mac beta 80500083. With v7 when a entered a website password that was different to the one stored in 1p it would ask if I wanted to update my stored password. I'm not getting that anymore. I don't see an option for so is it a bug or a missing feature?

    Hi @nickdring

I'm still seeing that prompt on my end? Are you not seeing the inline menu at all, or is it not providing this option?

In this case I've entered a username that I have saved for the site in 1Password, but a different password than what is saved. As such 1Password is offering the ability to save it. Please let us know if you're seeing something different.

Before, if I manually added a different password into the login form, 1 password would come up and offer to 'update' the password it had. So I take that now the 1p UI has changed and all we see is the 'Save in 1Passord' dialogue? If so maybe it would be better to change the wording so that it is clear It's updating an existing 1p item. Otherwise people might think its saving a new item.

    Hey @nickdring

Thank you for the video, and my apologies for the delay. It looks like your post got stuck in the spam filter. Sorry about that. As it stands, if you scroll the inline menu to the bottom, you should see the option you're looking for. We do have some changes in the beta version of the extension (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/1password-beta-–-password/khgocmkkpikpnmmkgmdnfckapcdkgfaf) that may help with this workflow. Last but not least, I'd recommend disabling Chrome's password management features, as they're almost certain to conflict with 1Password.

Turn off the built-in password manager in your browser

    I hope that helps!

    Ben
