Chrome browser extension constantly logs me off

Been using 1Password for 10 years & the Chrome browser extension for some years. Recently, last 3 or 4 weeks. it logs me off at random, then needing to log back in through the 1Password webpage using my Secret Key.

I am using a Chromebook which is fully updated,

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the 1P extension and also switching to the beta version. No difference.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

  • Hello @LarkB,

Do you by any chance have a utility tool to clean your computer? If not, when the issue occurs, please go here https://support.1password.com/cs/extension-console-log/ and try the steps there to send us 1Password's logs to our email here: https://support.1password.com/contact-us/ and I will get back quickly with what I find.

Thanks. I was using a utility tool but have now deleted it. It made no difference to the problem.

I have followed the instructions above and downloaded a log file (at the time of a repeat of the issue).

I went to the contact page above and have sent a message there was no way to attach a file to it.

It also won't seem to attach here

But here is a screen shot of the top section of the log file, if that might help?

Thank you. The email with the log file has been sent.

I got the automated message which quotes the number #BAD-38339-617

    SOLVED

Hi again. Just to update this for anyone with the same problem,

1Passport support suggested the following in an email

"Right-click the 1Password icon in the browser toolbar > Settings > Scroll down to "Integrate with 1Password app" at the end of General section and toggle it off."

This seems to have resolved the issue.

Many thanks for the help, much appreciated.

  • Hello @LarkB,

You are very welcome and have a great week.
