Work around for sites that don't allow password managers to insert passwords

An occasional real annoyance with some sites that, in the mistaken thought that they are enhancing security, require that the password be typed in by hand rather than by a password manager. The unfortunate impact of this requirement is that, in effect, it requires users to use a memorable and relatively short password. Both of these effectively eliminate the security of using a long, random, password. So that rather than enhancing security they actually wind up weakening security.
So, does 1Password have a mechanism for working around these counterproductive "you must type it yourself" requirements on some websites? Something like inserting a 0.25 second pause before feeding each character of the password, and being careful to remove any characters returned before and following the user password?
