Chrome 1Password not opening on Chrome until I unlock on Mac

Recently Chrome has taken extra long to open 1Password, and now it seems to hang until I open the local app on my Mac. After I have unlocked on Mac, then the 1Password extension in Chrome is open and works fine.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're running into issues with 1Password in the browser. Can you double-check to make sure that 1Password's Extension Helper is running?

    1. Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
    2. Click on 1Password 7 next to the  in the menu bar.
    3. Click on Preferences.
    4. Click on Browsers.
    5. Make sure that "Always keep 1Password Extension helper running" is checked.
