Well this is a horrible start - locked out

After using 1Password for almost a decade, I decided to sign up in preparation of version 8.

After returning from lunch, I find that my master password (that I've been using for almost a decade) isn't working. And the password field in the Emergency Kit is blank. I can't log into my iPhone, Mac or the 1Password web account.

I've been putting a lot of work into securing my passwords, and now I can't access them.

    I apologize for the inconvenience here. Please note that 1Password account passwords are totally independent and may be different from any previously used 1Password Master Password for standalone vault(s). Your account password is likely different than what you had previously been using to unlock 1Password. That said, I see you've got a ticket opened with our email-based support team as well. To avoid duplicating efforts and potentially confusing things, I'm going to close this thread. Our email-based support team will be back with you ASAP.
