OTP/2FA for 1Password Support Community

Hi there,

Would it be possible for 1Password to add 2FA/OTP as a security option for the 1Password Support Community? I understand it's probably not a simple flick of the switch, but it would be handy to have?

    Hey @gussic:

    Thanks for asking! The last I heard, our forum software's support for two-factor authentication is only available for forum administrators. We've reached out to the Vanilla forum software developers on this previously, and I'll definitely follow up with the team internally if this is something we can reach out to them again on.

    Thanks for responding - I appreciate nothing truly sensitive is on these forums, but giving users the option is probably a good idea, particularly given your focus as a password manager ;-)

    If the current forum software does not support OTP for all users...perhaps it is time to move to a platform that does? Heck, even my Macrumours forum account supports OTP...

    EDIT: _ Macrumors_ for those that use North American spelling.

    Thanks for following up on this. I don't have anything further to add at this time, as I'm sure you can imagine changing our entire forum software would be a considerable lift. For what it's worth, this forum is entirely separate from 1Password account data, and we don't discuss anyone's account specifics here.
