Use of Private Vault (0nline) and local Vault (1Password)

I have just installed version 7 and have Private vault (and saving to Private for new items, etc) and have a local vault on my PC (1Password). Does the local vault get synced to the Private online vault? I tried to enable sync for the local vault by right clicking on it and choosing the file on my PC that it went to. Not sure if the cache is the file or another name but I can't see it syncing to my local vault. Is it only online now in V7 and should I delete the local vault if not being updated?
