Disappointing 1password 7 > 8 Install & Migration Issues
The move to 1Password 7 > 8 has been less than smooth :(
In 1Password 7 I have a mixture of vaults, some on 1password.com and some locally on my Mac. I have a family account. With the move to 1Password 8, I accepted (reluctantly) to move the mac based vaults to 1Password.com. Unfortunately, the migration only moved 1 vault and then went and proceeded to insert them into my Primary vault. So the Primary vault is now a complete mess! More importantly, it didn't migrate two other vaults on my Mac. One of which contains critical passwords.
I had to close 1Password 8 and restart 1Password 7. Fortunately the missing vaults were still there. I first tried exporting them as .1pif format files but I couldn't see how to import them into 1Password 8 or via the website which would only accept csv files.
Relaunched 1Password 7 and copied the vaults to my 1password account. They are now visible in 1Password 8.
So, a bit of a frustrating and worrying experience, which I thought I would share.
1Password Version: 7.9.4 & 8.7
Extension Version: 7.9.3 & 2.3.3
OS Version: macOS 12.3.1

This definitely isn't the experience we want you to have when migrating from 1Password 7 to 1Password 8. We can definitely take a look to see what might have happened with your migration. I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac:
