Finally bit the bullet and started to install v8 on our work machines last week, which was fairly painless, but Electron seemed to be stressing the older machines, CPU-wise. Today I decided before a trip to install v8 on my personal machines, and this comes up:

    Hi @ElvisIncognito:

1Password 8 does require macOS High Sierra 10.15 or later. I've flagged this issue with the copy internally, so hopefully we can have it smoothed out sooner rather than later.

Generally speaking we recommend keeping your device as up to date as possible, so if you're able to install macOS 10.15 on your personal devices, that would be your best bet if you'd like to use 1Password 8.
