Can't search passwords from the Chrome Extension anymore

When autofilling a password using the Chrome extension, the extension sometimes isn't able to find the password. Sometimes this is because the website I'm using spans multiple domains (FF14's website, for example, spans several), but sometimes it just inexplicably can't find it even when on the domain/URL the login details are assigned to.

In the past, the extension's context menu had a search bar where I could look up the login info and fill from there. This is no longer possible in the latest version, so now I have to open up the desktop app, copy the password to my clipboard, and paste it in from there.

It's not the end of the world, but it is frustrating to suddenly have to jump through hoops which weren't there before.

  • Hey @Jinglepocket:

Great question! If you open the 1Password pop-up from your browser's toolbar, you can search your 1Password items there.

Let me know how you get on with that!
