Not autofilling AWS console

1Password is not auto filling my aws console anymore. Not sure how long it's been going for sorry, over 2 weeks I think.

It is not filling in username, password, or the onetime code on the subsequent page. I have the console root address saved on the item.

It doesn't autofill on page fill, and the extension seems to recognise that it's on the right page as it displays the autofill button in the the extension, but pressing it does nothing.

I can't see any errors in the developer tools console, but not sure if the extensions run in the same scope or not.

The console signin address is https://signin.aws.amazon.com/

    Hey @DansSuperPassword ,

Does this issue only occur on AWS or does it occur on other/all websites?
Are you able to test it in another browser after installing 1Password in it? Does the same issue occur?

Only the aws sign in page. Just tried on Firefox and it does work. Looks like something with my set up, any ideas on the best way to go about debugging it?

    Hey @DansSuperPassword ,
    Thanks for testing that.

I'd suggest you try the following in your main browser:

    • Disable all other extensions except for 1Password, then test and see if it works as expected. If it does, turn on your extensions one by one and test after each one to find the culprit.
    • Clear the browser's cache, then test and see if it works.

Still doesn't seem to be working

    What I've tried:

    • Turned off all extensions
    • Clear all cookies and caches for the domain
    • Accessing the page from an incognito window

    What I've noticed:

Is there a way to clear any cache that the extension keeps on windows?

    Hey @DansSuperPassword ,

If you delete/remove 1Password from the browser, it will clear all of its data and cache, which you should definitely try.
In addition, if that doesn't work, I'd suggest trying a new user profile in the browser. Simply open a new user profile in your browser, then install only 1Password in it and see if the issue persists there.

I forgot all about this, I did eventually discover that my company has set up several policies on chrome to block extensions working on certain pages, one of these is the aws login page, so mystery solved, and sorry for the wild goose chase!
