Sync multiple vaults via Dropbox (1Password 6 on macOS Monterey)

I'm setting up a new MacBook Pro with standalone 1Password 6 (with a family license)!
. On my old laptop, I was able to sync multiple vaults via Dropbox just fine. But on my new laptop, I don't see a "+" button on the Preferences > Sync tab, or any other way to sync a second vault.

Is this a known issue? Is there any workaround?

Apparently it's been so long since I've set up a new machine, I forgot that you have to create an empty "new vault", then configure it to sync to the second Dropbox location, and allow it to "merge".

  • Hey @Arthaey:

I'm glad to hear you got it sorted. With that said, it would be remiss of me if I didn't mention that generally speaking we don't recommend using outdated versions of 1Password. 1Password 6 for Mac last received an update more than four years ago at this point. Additionally, we haven't formally tested 1Password 6 for Mac with macOS Monterey.

If you're interested in moving to the latest version of 1Password, I'd encourage you to reach out to us directly via email at support+tradein@1password.com.
