Downloading an emergency kit on public WiFi

Is it safe to download my emergency kit if I'm on public WiFi? I noticed the download link is a blob link

Does that mean only I can access that file? Can somebody else on the same network access the emergency kit?

    Can you elaborate more on what you are looking to do? Are you using 1Password on other devices? If so, you can 🕵 Find your Secret Key or Setup Code within the apps. Is that what you are looking to do? It's safe and there is no need to potentially expose sensitive information.

    I always suggest refraining from using public WiFi for important things such as accessing 1Password.com. Do you have another network to use or a VPN? The following blog post may be helpful.

    Hi Tommy, I'm trying to connect a workflow to 1P 8 (https://github.com/alfredapp/1password-workflow#readme)

    In the Terminal window it asks for a sign-in address. Terminal hints that it should look like example.1password.com. I don't recall ever using anything that looks in that format. I've only used my email address. The window asks for a sign-in address and an email address

    Where do I find my sign in address? Thanks!

    Still no luck. What am I doing wrong? I enter the right password. This is message I get:

    Enter your sign-in address (example.1password.com): https://my.1password.com
    Enter the email address for your account on my.1password.com: myemail@email.com

    Enter the Secret Key for myemail@email.com on my.1password.com: mypassword
    [ERROR] 2022/07/18 08:48:18 invalid account key length

    ERROR: Unable to get any items. Please verify your login information and try again

    This indicates it is the Secret Key that is being input incorrectly, not the sign-in address. The Secret Key starts with A3- and can be found on the Emergency Kit.

    Enter the Secret Key for myemail@email.com on my.1password.com: mypassword

    It looks like you may be entering your account password, instead of your Secret Key at this prompt?
