Hello, I have a developed a script that utilizes the 1password cli and I keep receiving this error "connecting to desktop app: cannot connect to 1Password app, make sure it is running" after a few commands. When I run the individual commands it works fine. The issue started today and last time it worked fine was back on June 14th.

  • Hey @edgarrios97,

Thank you for reaching out to us!
Can you let us know, to start with, what version of the CLI are you using?
Did this occur as after an update, or across the same CLI version?

    Thanks,
    Horia

I was previously using 2.4.1 but updated to 2.5.1. Just upgrade my machine to Windows 11 as well. It happened across the same cli version I believe since updating to 2.5.1 was a very manual process.

  • Thanks for the info @edgarrios97! Could you provide a/the breaking script so we could try to reproduce the error and get a better feeling of what is going on?

    All the best,
    Andi
