Do I need to change my 1Password subscription after upgrading to v8 on Android?

v7 prompted me to install v8 today, thus highlighting that it's an uninstall/install approach rather than an upgrade. After I uninstalled v7, Android the notified me that I'll still be paying my subscription for v7 automatically.

Do I need to cancel my v7 subscription and set up a new subscription for v8 through the Google Play Store? Or can I leave it as-is?

    Thanks for the question! There is no need to change anything w/r/t your subscription. It'll carry on as normal and can be used with 1Password 8. 😃
