Using the new version 8 on an iphone 12mini I have problems to upload photos

I downloaded the new 1Password 8 app, was able to access my data and all of it, including photos works fine. Then I created a new file and uploaded a photo from my mobile. after getting the info that the upload is done, when opening the photo, it blinks up 4 or 5 times and then then app shows the file name, but I am not able to see the photo. I deleted the new login file and tried again with another photo, same behavior, looking like a bug.
Can you help?
