Apple Watch no longer unlocking 1Password Mac - prompt on wrist vanishes before I can double-click.

I've been using my Apple Watch to unlock 1Password on my Mac since the feature became available. Over the past day or two, it's stopped working as I would expect. If I try to unlock 1Password on the Mac, the Watch buzzes and "Double-click to unlock" (or something like that) pops up on the Watch screen as usual. But it then disappears before I can double click (or finish reading the text!). Double-clicking after the prompt has disappeared just triggers ApplePay in my Wallet.

WatchOS 9.0, but now running on a Series 8 watch instead of a Series 4 watch.

1Password Version: 8.9.4
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: 12.6
Browser:_ Latest Chrome & Safari, but also 1Password app.

Please try these steps and let us know how you get on.

    1. Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General
    2. Unlock your preferences
    3. Uncheck "Use your Apple Watch to unlock apps and your Mac"
    4. Wait a few seconds and then enabled/check that selection box again.
    5. You should see a message indicating the feature is being turned on. Provide your Mac user password when prompted.
    6. When it completes, return to 1Password.
    7. Do you see the option for Apple Watch unlock in 1Password > Preferences > Security?
