Chrome Autofill is Blank

I have set up 1Password Family and I'm sorry to say it has been a complete nightmare. Pretty much a week of installing, re-installing, configuring and signing in endlessly. I think it's probably a pretty good product but it has been incredibly difficult to set up. Anyway, enough ranting.

My current problem is that, although I have the 1Password 8 client installed and showing all my websites and passwords and I have the Chrome extension installed, 1PW just shows blanks when I hit the icon in a userid field. I've tried quitting and re-signing in on the client and removing and re-installing the extension.

I'd appreciate any clues I might get from you as to how I go about diagnosing this latest problem.
