Can’t open attached passport pdf file, was working on 1Password 7

Version 8.9.5 fails to open passport pdf file attached to passport item, created huge issue for me when I needed to show it

    I'm sorry to hear that you were unable to open an attached PDF. Are you still unable to open the PDF now? If yes, then can you tell me a little more about what happens when you try to open the PDF? Do you receive an error message?

    Can you also tell me if you were connected to either cellular data or WiFi when you tried to open the PDF?

    Hi Dave, just checked again — still can't open the attached PDF on the Passport item.

    What I observe is:

    • there is no error message
    • in fact it closes the Passport item screen and goes back to items list (like a screen crash, but not app crash)
    • I'm on WiFi

    Thank you for the additional details. Is the PDF file attached directly to the Passport item? Or is the PDF inside of a Document item that is linked to the Passport item under the Related Items section?
