Can't open 1Password 8

I had to wipe my Macbook Air due to another issue. After migrating all of my apps and files, the last app I'm have trouble opening is 1Password 8. It open's, but will not accept my master password. After multiple tries, I deleted ver 8 and downloaded 1P ver 7 from the App Store. That version opens with my password. What should I do to get ver 8 to open?

    Hoping an Agilebits team member will respond on this issue soon.... to clarify, my desktop 1P app will not accept my password. It appears to "try" to accept it, but fails every time.
