Need to delete 1Password7 when upgrading to 8

Hi community,

I recently upgraded to 1Password 8. Would I need to manually delete the 1Password 7 files or is 8 just taking it over?

In other words: are 7 and 8 keeping separate password databases or is it just one database accessed by different versions?

    Hey @FlowerG33 !

    1Password 8 needs a membership. So if you used a membership in 1Password 7 already, you are using the same membership and "database" in 1Password 8. If you used a local vault in 1Password 7 then you are not able to use it in 1Password 8. So your "databases" would be different.
