Mac app: Chose beta channel ages ago, but in production?

in Desktop betas (Mac, Windows, and Linux)

I've run 1P betas in 1P7 for ages. I have the "beta" channel selected in 1P8 for ages, but I'm on production. I did a check for updates and still not allowing me to get on the beta train. How can I get on the beta train even with the UI showing beta channel?

    Hey @TravelSD !

    The latest production build is newer than the latest beta build. So we all got this new production build. As soon as a new beta build is available, we should get that build again.
