Im using 1Password 2.5.1 for FireFox on macOS mojave 10.14.6.
Now each time I try to save a suggested password it redirects me to https://my.1password.com/signin/?a=xxxx indefinitely.
I am now using strongpasswordgenerator.com temporarily to generate new passwords and save them to 1Password using the desktop app.

1Password Version: 7
Extension Version: 2.5.1
OS Version: macOS 10.14.6
Browser:_ FireFox

    Hi @anjanesh,

I'm sorry for the trouble you are having can you try the below steps and let me know if it gets things back on track for you?

    1. Open your browser and sign into your account: https://my.1password.com/signin > Sign in to your 1Password account > Turn off 2FA to your account.
    2. Quit and reopen your browser.
    3. Right-click the 1Password icon in the browser toolbar and select Settings.
    4. Scroll down to "Integrate with 1Password app" at the end of General section and toggle it off > Scroll down to "Accounts & vaults" > Sign out of your account.
    5. Turn on 2FA again > and Sign in again.

Once you've completed these steps, please give your computer a restart to ensure no pending process prevents 1Password from connecting with the browser. When the computer is back on, turn on the "Integrate with 1Password app" setting again.

Let me know how you get on!

I didn't heed to your advise of turning of 2FA so far - but I'm getting around this issue by manually going to https://1password.com/password-generator/

  • Hey @anjanesh,

Thank you for getting back to me, I'm sorry for the disruption.

Did you get a chance to try the steps above to see if we can get things back on track?
