Unsubscribe from community thread notifications for a single topic

The community software allows me to "Notify me when people comment on discussions I've participated in". This appears to be a global setting. If I am no longer interested in getting notifications for a specific discussion thread I have participated in, can I turn that off?

    Hello @shhh! 👋

    I'm told that the forum software that we use (which isn't created by us) doesn't allow for unsubscribing from threads. However we'll keep this in mind for the future.

    The best option, at the moment, is to change your notification preferences: https://1password.community/profile/preferences/

    You can unselect "Notify me when people comments on my discussions" and leave the others selected. The 1Password team will always @ mention you when they reply to you so you'll still get those notifications. And you can bookmark those threads that you'd like to receive notifications for by clicking on the star at the top of the thread.
