how to install chrome browser extension after upgrade 7 to 8?
I deleted v7 and the extension after upgrading and can't figure out how to add the browser extension back in.
1Password Version: 8.9.15
Extension Version: ?
OS Version: macOS 11.7.3
Browser:_ Chrome

It's frustrating to have to search for simple answers like this. While I'm sold on 1PW, finding basic Help without having to turn to forums can be maddening for us unsophisticates.

Sorry for wasting your time. I found most of the answers in the app. Except, putting the extension into Chrome is a problem. It won't allow it and instead wants to add it to Brave instead.

I'm sorry that you're having trouble adding 1Password to Chrome. If you have Brave set as your default browser then the 1Password app will open Brave if you click to add the extension from within the app. To add 1Password to Chrome please follow these steps:
- Open Chrome.
- Open the following website in Chrome: 1Password in the browser
- Click on the Install button under the Chrome icon.
- Click Add to Chrome.
