2 step verification alert in Watch Tower

Since it's possible to use 1Password to generate your multi-factor authentication codes, you'll see this alert for any items where that hasn't been done and 2FA is available. For example, even if you've already set up 2FA, if it's with an app besides 1Password, 1Password won't have any way to identify that.

Alternatively, you can ignore these alerts. If you'd still like to keep track of which 2FA methods you've used within 1Password, you can add a custom text field to the item or apply a tag. Some articles in case you'd like to read more:
