Is this bug reproducible?

Sometimes but not reliably in 4.1b18.

Which devices did this bug appear on and is it reproducible on any devices?

iPhone 4

A quick summary of the bug:

1PW seems to sometimes accept typing more than four digits when prompting for quick unlock code. If you type a correct code it makes you wait a long time before unlocking.

Detailed Step-by-step instruction on how to reproduce it:

1. Open 1PW and after submitting master password, switch to another app.

2. Switch back to 1PW and type quick unlock code. Sometimes it opens immediately but frequently it will accept more than four digits and if you type the correct code there will be a significant delay before it opens.

Apropos this, see my (and Penelope's) post regarding the Quick Unlock Code screen.

This problem persists in b20. In the image below, the first four digits I typed were the correct unlock code, everything else was random. More worryingly, I switched to Skitch to upload the image, when I switched back to 1PW it was unlocked. That should never happen right?

My master password timeout is set to Never, QUC to 2min and Lock on Exit is ON.

  • Hi guys,

I assume this is now working fine in the latest 4.2 betas as we've fixed the performance issue in the later 4.1.1 updates?

Yes it is. Sorry I normally post when an issue I reported is fixed.

  • Great, thanks for confirming it!
