I'm a big fan of 1Password.

There exists an alfred workflow https://github.com/squatto/alfred-imessage-2fa which can extract 2fa codes from the messages app on MacOS.

This would a really cool feature for 1Password, if the MacOS app did the same thing and forwarded codes to the browser extension for autofilling - similar to how sms code autofill works in the browser on IOS.

I'm not sure if this works in Safari on MacOS already, but it definitely doesn't work in Chrome or Firefox

Hey @samdenty! We don't have a feature that does this in any browser on the computer yet. However, I can see why it would be useful for 1Password to be able to autofill SMS 2fa codes. I've shared your feedback with our team. Hopefully they will consider it down the road!
