MacOS Ventura 13.2.1 suddenly not working with 1Password 7 Safari app

I reloaded MacOS Ventura 13.2.1 and 1Password 7 is now not filling in website passwords in Safari. If I click on the app icon it opens the home page for 1Password, but not for the website I'm on. When I email for help I am just offered a subscription to 1Password 8.
I have used 1Password since 2008 and have previously found support helpful, but if I am just going to be brushed off I shall change programs altogether.

    Hello @ausmint! 👋

    I'm sorry that you're having trouble filling passwords using 1Password 7 in Safari. With the launch of 1Password 8 for Mac, 1Password 7 for Mac is no longer supported and will only receive important security updates. We strongly encourage you to update to the latest and greatest version as soon as you have the chance.

    That being said, I've located your ticket and you'll receive another email from my colleagues as soon as possible. Since we already have a communications channel open I'm closing this thread.
